THE PROPOSAL AND OUTLINE SPECIFICATION OF 31.8M TWIN SCREW MULTIPURPOSE TUG

This tug is designed to provide all kinds of towing and pushing service. The
tug shall be good for ocean going and Harbour Vessels Mooring, Berthing
and Towing Service, as well as an Engineering Anchor Handling, Fire
Fighting boat and Assistant Salvage Boat.

PAINTING AND ACCOMMODATION:
2). Painting:
The main construction to be fabricated by China made marine steel
materials.
All steel plates to be pre-treatment to SA2.5 and prime coated before
fabrication.
The paint to be using "International Paint" Shanghai made products.
All tanks coating with epoxy coated (except fuel/L.O. tanks)
Outside color to be determined by the Buyer.
All pipe color as per specification.
The Zinc anode to be good for two years.
3). Covering:
Decks cover non-skid deck paint excluding the wooden blocks.
Washroom and galley Mosaic tiles.
Engine room steel checker plate on top of floors.
Deck store non-skid paint.
Other cabins cover with 1.5mm thinks PVC marine tiles.
Deck machinery marine canvas.
4). Accommodation:
4 cabins for 10 person air conditioned room,
UP MAIN DECK :
Officers: 2 x single berth room; 1 x 2 berth rooms.
UNDER DECK:
Crew: 1 x 8 berth rooms
2 x store room, 1x galley, 1 x mess-room.
2 x sanitary space
UP DECK: 1 x Electrical charge room, 1 x battery room.
One wheel house.
UNDER DECK : 1 x engines room, 1 x forward store room,
Chain lockers, fore peak tank,
3 x fuel oil tanks, water tanks, and other tanks.

MAIN MACHINERY
5). Main Engine:
2 x Caterpillar Model: 3512 ( made in USA) continuous output
power, 2x1280 bhp / 1600 rpm with Two Reijents reduction Gear Box
model WaF 663,Driven two 4-B fixed pitch propellers inside fixed stern
nozzles, stern tube and shaft shall be lubricated & cooled in oil bath
type.
Two stern shafts will be forged steel materials.
Two shafts shall be oil lubricating and cooling system.
Two W/H shafts RPM indicated meters.
Two control stations in wheelhouse fore and aft, each one.
One set main engine emergency telegraph.
Full set W/H indication meters & alarm system.
6). Gensets: 2x Caterpillar Gensets 3304B (made in USA) 85KW /1500RPM;
AC400V/50Hz/3+1 Generator sets each other working as
standby set;
Electric switch boards, distribution boards, switches,
sockets,
lights,wire, fuse, starter, Ele. chargers, panels, transformer to be China
made products.
Power System: AC400V/50hz for motor from genset.
AC220V/50hz for all light power < 3KW from genset.
DC24V for alarm, emergency, radio navigation from battery and AC/DC
charger.
7). Fuel oil & Consumption:
Fuel Oil Type: M.G.O.
About 13.9 tons/day at 100% MCR. Service speed in 11.5 Knots.
About 7.5 tons/day at 50% MCR. Economic speed in 10.0 Knots.
8). Steer Gear: Electrical hydraulic type.
Two pumps two way control, including manual power emergency steering
system.
Each power pump working as standby for other one.
Electrical joystick type control c/w local control station.
The steering system can be modified to combine with auto. Pilot
system by digital compass.
Operation: +35~ -35 within 25s.
Max. Torque 3.5 Ton-Meter.
Power AC380/50./3.
9). Pumps System:
The following pumping system to be electrical motor driven.
AC400V/50Hz.
1 x GS & Fire pump, 35 M3/50H
1 x Ballast & Bilge pump,35 M3/50H.
1 x F/O transfer pump, 15 M3/25H.
2 x Sewage pump, 6 M3/20H.
1 x Dirty Oil pump, 4 M3/20H.
1 x Dirty Oil hand pump, 1 x bilge hand pump, 1 x F.O. hand pump.
All hand pumps will be Chinese products.
10). Piping System: As per our building specification.
11). Air-condition Set:
Central water cooled type electrical air-conditions for crew
compartments, wheelhouse, mess room. Captain room, chief engineer room.
12). Fire Fighting & Life-saving appliances:
Emergency portable diesel engine driven fire-fighting pump.
Safety Fire detection and general control fire-fighting equipment
& life saving appliances, etc.provided.
